Odesa hosted a high-level International event on the development of digital infrastructure.
During the event, Deputy Minister of Infrastructure Yurii Lavreniuk presented the main steps for the development of digital infrastructure of the Ministry. In particular, he noted that the National transport strategy of Ukraine until 2030 (NTSU) and the action plan for its implementation have already been developed and agreed. One of the priorities of the strategy is the introduction of digital infrastructure that will provide transparency and better access to information about the transport system.
Also, the Ministry of infrastructure is already implementing pilot projects such as the system of weighing cars in motion Weigh in Motion, an electronic ticket in the cities of Ukraine, an interactive map of bus routes, expanding the network of charging stations for electric vehicles, the electronic Cabinet of the carrier, the electronic system of ports "Single window", improving the register of certification of vehicles in accordance with EU practices, geo-information systems on the railway and much more.
"All these and many other infrastructure projects were included in the action plan and master plan of NTSU. In the process of development is also a national transport model, which provides computer simulation of traffic flows for all modes of transport", – Yurii Lavreniuk said.
Farid Safarov, Director General of the Directorate of digital infrastructure on transport of the Ministry of Infrastructure, noted that the integrated implementation of these innovations throughout Ukraine is possible only through the creation of the innovation center, which will ensure the impact of digital transformation on all sectors of the economy. Investments in strategic digital facilities and infrastructure in General will lay the Foundation for the future prosperity of Ukraine.
The event was organized by the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine, Reform Support Office and European Partners.
Among the key speakers were the official representatives of the European delegation, the European investment Bank, officials from the relevant ministries of Kazakhstan, Georgia, Poland and other countries, as well as among the participants – Egis, AVISION Robotics, DBA Group, Huawei Technologies and others.
