  • Systemic review of regulatory acts in the fields of agriculture and food safety, construction, energy, transport and infrastructure, information technology and telecommunications.
  • Formation of the Small and Medium Enterprise Development Strategy for Ukraine up to 2020.

The current state of adaptation of Ukrainian legislation and cooperation with the EU

In the framework of parties’ cooperation there is an active implementation of international programmes and projects:

“Strengthening member business organizations of small and medium enterprises” project, aimed at consolidating the potential of business associations;

“EU Support to Ukraine to Re-launch the Economy. EU SURE Technical Assistance Project”, aimed at providing economic development strategies, creation of 15 regional Business Support Centres and a loan guarantee instrument.

Programme to support “green" modernization of the Ukrainian economy in order provide professional and organizational advice on energy efficiency to Ukraine.

Programme of the Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Technology of Germany for retraining managerial personnel in Ukraine.

The FORBIZ Project of the EU Delegation in Ukraine and the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade for creating a better business environment.

“Competitiveness of Small and Medium Enterprises” EU programme (COSME). The Ministry of Economic Development and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine participate in the implementation of the EU Horizon 2020 programme, which includes the "Small and Medium Enterprises” direction.

At the meeting on May 24, 2022 the Government approved the “Development of Small and Medium-sized Entrepreneurship in Ukraine Strategy (SME Strategy 2020)”.

A Draft Order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine “On Approval of the Action Plan for Implementation of the Development of Small and Medium-sized Entrepreneurship in Ukraine Strategy 2020” was prepared.

The practical implementation of the “Raising the Investment Attractiveness of Ukraine and Competitiveness of the Regions” project, within the framework of the "Polish Development Assistance 2016" project (registration card No. 3590 dated March 27, 2022) underways.
