Over 24,000 Ukrainian households use solar panels and save on electricity bills. Ukrainian families continue to actively switch to clean electricity.
Over 2,100 systems were installed in the first quarter of 2020. This is one and a half times more than during the same period of 2019. The total capacity of solar power plants (SPP) in households already reaches 618 MW, and the total amount of investments they make is about 495 million euros.
More and more Ukrainian citizens are joining the production of green energy. It is important that this is a small distributed generation that allows the use of energy at the point of production, as well as encourages owners to rational energy consumption and the implementation of energy efficiency measures. Solar energy allows you to save on electricity bills, not depend on the energy supplier, be more energy efficient and use energy-saving electrical equipment.
In total, more than 24,000 SPP in households can generate more than 700 million kWh of clean energy per year. To compare this amount of energy is enough for about 230 thousand families.
