On March 10, Dnipro became the 11th and last pilot city in which the eMaliatko integrated service was launched. Now, 6 maternity hospitals and 2 Dnipro CASPs offer parents of newborns to save time, nerves and money and take advantage of the new service.
This was reported by the Ministry of Digital Transformation.
The service operates in pilot mode, hence 7 services are available: civil registration of birth; establishing of identity of the child (identity of parents); assigning childbirth assistance; assigning assistance for child care raised in multi-children families; registration in the State Register of natural persons - taxpayers; determining the attribution of the newborn baby to Ukrainian citizenship; entering information about a newborn baby into the Unified State Demographic Register with assigning a unique record number.
As was reported earlier this service was launched in 10 cities - Kyiv, Kharkiv, Odesa, Vinnytsia, Lutsk, Kryvy Rih, Lviv, Mariupol. Parents of newborns need to have passports, taxpayer numbers (if any), and a medical birth certificate from the maternity hospital.
By the end of the year, eMalyatko service will be available to all Ukrainians, as they will be able to receive the service online from the Diia (Action) portal.
The service is being implemented by the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine with the support of the Prime Minister of Ukraine, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Social Policy, the Ministry of Finance, the State Migration Service, the State Tax Service and international assistance projects: EGAP (E-Governance for Accountability and Participation funded by Swiss Confederation and implemented by East Europe Foundation and InnovaBridge Foundation) programs, SURGe supported by the Government of Canada, EGOV4UKRAINE project, which is part of the U-LEAD with Europe program, EU4PAR, Grid Dynamics Life.
